In 2018, around 26.000 Colombians left our country, and many already lived abroad.
Being abroad fuels nostalgia, a deep love for our land, and a sense of patriotism. We believe this is key to generate a network of ‘lovers of Colombia’ that promote tourism and the wonderful experiences that our country has to offer, within their close circles.
We want to captivate our travellers all over the world, through our Colombian ambassadors. We are sure that if there’s a Colombian in their country, they will charm them and inform them about the wonders of our land. We are sure that our compatriots are proud of their country, and promoting tourism in Colombia can become a profitable endeavour.
Colombians abroad can promote our culture, by sharing elements of our idiosyncrasy and social behaviour. This is the ideal setting to promote tourism in our country. In Gaita Travel we are working towards building a network of Colombia’s Ambassadors abroad.

Gaita Travel offers plans that include close contact with nature, local communities and discovering unexplored territories like Vichada, Guainía and Guaviare. However, if you would like to travel to a traditional destination, Gaita Travel has a network of allied agencies that can provide you with the best services.
You can register as Ambassador and start your process with us.
Each Ambassador must register and be accepted. Afterwards, they will receive a unique, non-transferrable identification code, which has to be provided when registering details and interest of possible travellers.
Electronic transfer to the Colombian bank account registered by the Ambassador.
We offer unique travel experiences to exceptional places, making sure the local communities take part and benefit from it. In addition, part of our income is dedicated to support social projects.
By promoting Colombia, and inviting people to visit our country you will receive 30USD for each traveller that uses our service. It will become effective once each traveller completes their purchase.
Additionally, by being an Ambassador you will receive a 10% in all of our travel destinations.
You will get a pack with videos, images and a portfolio with the different routes offered by Gaita Travel across Colombia.
